Day 1 - Buenos Aires / Ushuaia

Although its nickname the "End of the World" - derived from its location along the southernmost tip of South America among the Tierra del Fuego archipelago - Ushuaia is far from the end of any adventure. Where the Andes meet the Beagle Channel and the snow-capped Martial Mountains sit behind a sprawling city of colorful buildings, lies a lively town ready and waiting to take you on the thrill ride of a lifetime. Scenes like Parque Yatana give you the chance to immerse yourself in the rich, indigenous culture.

Crossing the legendary Drake Passage is a journey reserved for the most daring adventurers. With petrels and albatrosses soaring above as guides, this iconic waterway sets the stage for an unforgettable expedition. Its raw power and untamed beauty make the voyage to Antarctica a true triumph of the human spirit. As you emerge from the Drake Passage, the mammoth, icy peaks of the South Shetland Islands loom ahead, greeting you on your victorious landing. You have completed the rite of passage to explore the seventh continent.

Day 9-10 - Drake Passage Navigation

The Drake Passage connects the southernmost tip of the Americas to the Antarctic Peninsula, where cold southern waters meet warmer northern seas, creating powerful currents that challenge even the boldest travelers. The rewards, however, are unmatched. This unique confluence attracts incredible wildlife, offering sightings of humpback whales and hourglass dolphins. The 48-hour journey is accompanied by the rhythm of waves crashing against the ship and the calls of petrels, skuas, and gulls, making the voyage as awe-inspiring as the destination itself.
