Day 4 - Crossing the Antarctic Circle - Captain's Choice

As you cross the Antarctic Circle at the 66th southern parallel, you enter what feels like another world, creating a connection with your inner explorer spirit. It’s a space rarely navigated, with narrower channels that bring you closer to ice floes, snow-capped mountain peaks and wondrous icebergs, making for a picture-perfect scene. When you do make the crossing, you join the Order of the Red Nose, the select few who navigate deep into the furthest reaches of The White Continent, an unbeatable feeling of triumph.

Day 5-9 - Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula – Captain’s Choice

Nicknamed The White Continent for its endless icebergs, snow, and glaciers, Antarctica is the ultimate frontier for seasoned explorers. Landings at sites like Beak Island, Brown Bluff, Cierva Cove, and Hidden Bay unveil diverse landscapes, from vast tundra to rugged mountain peaks, inviting you to tread paths few have dared to explore.

CAPTAIN’S CHOICE: Your Captain skillfully navigates ice and shifting weather, ensuring each day brings new adventures. With flexible itineraries, possible shore landings, and Zodiac safaris, the expedition adapts to conditions for a safe and unforgettable journey.

Some places are beautiful.

Antarctica is transformative.

The silence, the vastness, and the raw beauty of the White Continent leave an impression that lasts long after you've returned home.

Day 10-11 - Drake Passage Navigation

The Drake Passage connects the southernmost tip of the Americas to the Antarctic Peninsula, where cold southern waters meet warmer northern seas, creating powerful currents that challenge even the boldest travelers. The rewards, however, are unmatched. This unique confluence attracts incredible wildlife, offering sightings of humpback whales and hourglass dolphins. The 48-hour journey is accompanied by the rhythm of waves crashing against the ship and the calls of petrels, skuas, and gulls, making the voyage as awe-inspiring as the destination itself.
